can anybody wear a sari???????
i am an African America female. I am VERY multicultural. i love the Indian/Sri Lankan
my Question is can anybody wear a sari/saree regardless of what nationality you are?
also my complexion is like a chocolate color... my cousin tells me all the time that i look good in green. like a the color green on a double mint gum pack. that's the color sari/saree i want to get as my first.
i ask in this too because i wasnt sure where it should go.
If you're asking if it is okay for you to wear Saree.....its perfectly all right. In fact, they'll be happy to see you do it.
Its just a style of dressing/a piece of clothing ! Nobody will have any objection to your wearing one. No cultural offense will be perpetrated...:)
If you want to know how to wear one, I would suggest taking the help of an Indian. Learning it from books or websites could be tricky.
I'm sure you'll look good. I've seen many chocolate colored girls wear it to church even. They look elegant.
